Collecting Contact Information Via the Website

Information collected from this website is given on a voluntary basis. Wee Bumble uses this information for the sole purpose of contacting interested individuals. By using our contact form, you are giving Wee Bumble permission to reach out to you by email, text, or phone.

Security of Links Used

The link used for insurance verification connects to The Lactation Network (TLN) and takes individuals to a secure site. The TLN site is not the property of Wee Bumble. Visitors will notice a lock icon in the address window as reassurance of the nature of the security of this site. Please note TLN’s Privacy Notice on TLN’s web page.

The link to the Patient Portal connects to a secure patient portal and charting system called Milk Notes. Milk Notes is hosted by Microsoft Azure Cloud System, an extremely secure system. Milk Notes uses two factor authentication to secure your data and all passwords are encrypted.  Information given through the patient portal is considered safe guarded and secure by Milk Notes. Milk Notes is the primary charting system and virtual platform used by Wee Bumble.

Information collected by these third party sites is not the responsibility of Wee Bumble, and all liability related to privacy protection is the sole responsibility of those entities.

Sharing your information

As a client, your information may be shared in certain situations, such as:

• Care coordination with primary care providers involved in you or your baby’s care
• Insurance companies requesting documentation 
• Public health or safety issues that may be required by law such as reporting abuse, neglect, or a serious threat to health and safety
• If a state or federal law requires it, such as in the event of investigations, workman’s comp, national security, or in response to a court order or subpoena

Wee Bumble is required by law to safeguard the privacy and security of your health information. If a breach occurs that may compromise your private health information, we will let you know immediately. Only individuals needing to have direct access to information will be given access to personal identifiable information. Our HIPAA Statement and Consent for Service are located within the Milk Notes Portal for clients to sign prior to, or at the time of, service.
